On April 30, the Contemporary Art Centre (CAC) in Vilnius hosted the opening of the international group exhibition "Superglue, or Inventing the Friend" — an event dedicated to the topic of human connections, trust and the search for new forms of mutual understanding in the modern world. On the opening day, Z.O.D.D.D.I.A.K. joined the event as a sponsor, whose support CAC provided for the musical performance by Ukrainian artist Mariana Klochko.
Participation in this initiative was a continuation of the mission of Z.O.D.D.I.A.K. to support culture as a tool of dialogue, a source of inspiration and a space of social cohesion. We are convinced that art helps society to think, feel, know itself and form new meanings necessary for a common future.
The opening program combined exhibition projects, meetings, performative formats, and live communication with visitors. A special moment of the evening was the live performance of Mariana Klochko, which took place at the CAC Sculpture Yard. It was the support of this musical performance that was provided by Z.O.D.D.I.A.K., emphasizing the importance of the presence of Ukrainian artists in the international cultural space.
The exhibition "Superglue, or Inventing the Friend" addresses a pressing question: how to create connections between people today based on openness, cooperation and mutual trust. For Z.O.D.D.I.A.K., this topic is close and valuable, because culture for us is an environment in which new ideas are born, mutual understanding develops and the internal spiritual space of society is strengthened.
By supporting artists and cultural institutions, we support a future in which art remains a language that can unite people regardless of borders, experiences or circumstances.
