Z.O.D.D.I.A.K. continues to expand its educational and social initiatives by supporting projects that create meaningful opportunities for the next generation. Since April 2026, the organization has served as the principal sponsor of the SMART Vasara (Smart Summer) camp—an innovative educational program for children implemented in partnership with the Academy of Young Scientists with the support of the Vilnius City Municipality. The program provides an environment where learning is combined with personal development, creativity, teamwork, and a genuine curiosity about the world.
A particularly important aspect of this partnership is that the program has opened places for children from Ukrainian families who were forced to leave their homes because of the war. For children aged 7 to 10, participation in the camp has become an opportunity not only to spend the summer in a safe and supportive environment, but also to gain experiences that strengthen their confidence, curiosity, and sense of hope for the future.
A Learning Environment Beyond the Traditional Classroom
The Smart Vasara camp created an environment where education extended far beyond the traditional classroom model. Here, learning became a journey of discovery, enabling children not only to acquire new knowledge but also to develop critical thinking, experiment, collaborate, and apply their ideas in practice.
Throughout the program, participants had the opportunity to:

For children who have experienced forced displacement and the consequences of war, it is especially important to be in an environment that offers stability, care, and the opportunity to simply be children again—to play, make friends, learn, and dream. Participation in SMART Vasara helped children restore a sense of security, build new friendships, and feel that there are people who genuinely care about their future.
