Art of M.K. Čiurlionis

In honor of the 150th anniversary of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, together In cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine and the Lithuanian Institute of Culture, we supported the publication of 700 albums featuring his paintings. For us, this is an important step not only to republish the artist’s pieces, but also to bring them back into the contemporary cultural space. This partnership made it possible to create an edition that accurately conveys the character of his works and makes Čiurlionis’s art vivid and accessible to today’s audience.

Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis is one of the most important figures in Lithuanian culture — an artist and composer who boldly united two arts into one cohesive language. His works were innovative for their time: they went beyond classical movements and offered his own vision of the world — deep, sensitive, and symbolic.

In the cycles “The Creation of the World,” “The Sonata of the Stars,” and other artworks, he sought to convey not the external appearance of phenomena, but their state and mood. Čiurlionis aimed to show what a person often feels intuitively. That is why his art is still perceived as contemporary today: it speaks not about an era, but about an experience that is universally understood.

With this edition, we continue our mission: to restore forgotten names, build a space for dialogue between generations, and preserve cultural heritage while also revealing its relevance to the present.

We believe that such projects become a source of inspiration, an expression of collective wisdom, and a resource for spiritual growth. It is an environment where new meanings are born — and where the past becomes a living force that shapes our future.
