The Practice of Pilates for inner calm at the Pyramid of Merkine
As part of the "Visits to the Pyramid of Merkine" program, Z.O.D.D.I.A.K. held a special socially significant trip for women from two organizations — the Women's Information Center and the Social Services Center of the City of Vilnius. The meeting space was the Pyramid of Merkine — a place of silence, strength and deep inner fulfillment.
This visit was not only an opportunity to change the scenery, spend a day in a natural environment and feel cared for. It became the living embodiment of Z.O.D.D.I.A.K.'s mission — to create programs that help people live consciously, feel their own values, and form harmony with themselves and the world.
We believe that the path to a quality life begins with inner balance, a deeper understanding of oneself, and a sense of meaning. That is why we unite people who strive to develop consciousness, cultivate compassion and build communities based on trust, wisdom and mutual respect.
One of the important parts of the program was the practice of Pilates, which was conducted by Olga Sinkevych, a Pilates and fitness instructor. Under her close supervision, the participants performed a set of exercises aimed at gently stretching the body, activating muscles, improving mobility and general well-being. The class was held in an atmosphere of support, calmness and respect for the needs of each woman.
The guests were greeted by the founder of the space, Povilas Žekas, who introduced the participants to the history of the creation of the Pyramid of Merkine and its sacred meaning. His narration revealed a deeper meaning of this place as a space to comprehend meanings, search for truth and inner concentration.
A special moment of the stay was the sound of singing performed by Povilas Žekas under the dome of the pyramid. This created an atmosphere of silence, inner peace and deep concentration, which the participants lived in their own way - through silence, listening and personal feelings.
At the end of the visit, the participants returned with new impressions, a sense of inner peace and resource filling. For many, this day has become an opportunity to stop, recuperate and pay attention to themselves.
Z.O.D.D.I.A.K. continues to develop initiatives that support spiritual culture, help a person to be present, holistic and open to life. After all, it is on the value foundation that a harmonious society is born.
